Jared

Sax

Under the velvet skies of the San Francisco Bay, where music floats like fog over neon-lit rooftops, Jared steps into the spotlight, saxophone in hand, and transforms the night. With a single breath through brass, he conjures sound into stardust — melodies kissed with soul, rhythm, and a kind of magic you don’t just hear… you feel.

Jared’s story doesn’t begin on stage — it begins in a home humming with creativity. Born into a family of artists, music was more than a language; it was the atmosphere. By sixteen, he was already slipping into smoky clubs and vibrant venues, lighting them up with a tone smooth as silk and energy that pulsed with the heartbeat of every genre he touched — Jazz, Funk, R&B, Rock, Pop, Latin, Blues — he didn’t just play them, he became them.

Jared earned his degree in Jazz Studies for Saxophone Performance from San Diego State University, recorded at the legendary Capitol Records, and toured stages from California to Europe. He’s played alongside icons like Gordon Goodwin, Wayne Bergeron, Tito Puente Jr., Kristen Korb, and Huey Dunbar — not as an understudy, but as an equal force, a presence that can’t be ignored.

But credentials only tell half the tale. As a bandleader and co-producer of The (408) Collective, Jared crafts new sounds with the same finesse, breathing life into songs like “Hit the Ground” and “LOVE, LOVE, LOVE.” His talent has been broadcast to millions, featured in Hollywood commercials and live on ABC’s Schooled, while his resume glitters with appearances at Disneyland, SeaWorld, California’s Great America, and in stadiums for the Golden State Warriors and San Francisco Giants.

He doesn’t just play stages — he claims them, currently lending his sparkle to groups like Three Flower Jam, The Francis Experience, Soucano, Funkranomicron, The Alternative Symphony, and The Bay Blue Notes. Wherever he goes, the room shifts. The air shimmers. The music — his music — lifts everything.

Jared is a sonic alchemist, spinning gold from breath and brass. On stage with Starman SF, he honors David Bowie's musical legacy — channeling the sensual swagger of Young Americans and the cosmic ache of Jump They Say with a fire so bright it borders on celestial. His solos are time-traveling portals.

Jared’s performances shimmer with authenticity, brilliance, and an unmistakable fire that marks him as a rare and radiant talent.
